Katherine and Nick met in 2019 shortly after Nick moved to Washington D.C. to pursue a graduate degree in economics and conflict management from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Much like D.C's other notorious power couple (Pete and Chasten Buttigieg) Nick and Katherine met on the dating site Hinge.

They spent their first date discussing southern politics, UFO conspiracies and Nick's journey as a recovering theater student. Since then the conversations haven't stopped! Shortly after they started dating the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic which only brought them closer together (quite literally as they spent a lot of lockdown in Katherine's 400 sq. ft studio apartment).

Katherine and Nick have continued on their journey in Washington D.C. - moving in together and adopting a dog! They recently made the move to Alexandria, VA and are so excited to see what's next as they take steps toward the future together!
