Elizabeth is Katherine's little sister and a recent graduate of Davidson College.

Kat is Katherine's sister-in-law, married to Katherine's brother, Blanton DePalma, and the mother of Katherine's favorite niece, Charlotte.

Laura and Katherine attended high school together and both played on the varsity softball team.

Margaret attended grammar school and high school with Katherine. They have been friends since second grade.

Ellie and Katherine attended high school together and both participated in the Mountain Brook Midnight Ball. Ellie is married to Paul Davis.

Blanton is Katherine's older brother. Despite the typical sibling antics, they remain very close. Blanton and his wife, Kat, both work at Protective Life and share a lovely daughter, Charlotte, two rescue Greyhounds and a kitty.

Aka Benson Benson, Nick's close friend from Loyola University, graduating together in 2017. Nick and Benson were neighbors following their graduation and were until Nick's move to DC and Benson's move to New Orleans.

Cristian is one of Nick's oldest friends, having met at Loyola University in Baltimore in 2014 and were neighbors following their graduation in 2016 and 2017. They share a unique love of dumb bits that they keep indulging.

Gerry is Nick’s cousin on his dad’s side and the uncle to our sweet flower girl Eleanor. Gerry and Nick were both shown Jaws at way too young an age by their grandmother, and subsequently faced that fear on the beaches of Martha's Vineyard.
